The MAT-CAPs themselves could be easily adjusted and mass recolored by adjusting the nodes in the "Mat Cap Base" and "Rim Lighting" frames.

Mat-Cap Creator Tool

This is a substance graph I created to automate the creation of our albedo textures for our MAT-CAP (Material Capture) shader. It allowed us to convert our color palette to MAT-CAP spheres in minutes instead of spending hours drawing them by hand or adjusting the colors of existing MAT-CAP in Photoshop.
The MAT-CAP sphere that is shown in this video is designed with a flat face to give a more 2D cartoon look.
