Space Odyssey Material

This is the first piece in my One-Day Monday Challenge where I come up with a mini-project and complete it in one day.

For this week's challenge I created a procedural material in Substance Designer to replicate the iconic white hall in the film 2001: A Space Odyssey. I created the material using 3 separate Designer graphs in order to keep the graphs from getting too out of control. The rendering of the scene in marmoset proved to be the hardest part of the challenge because I wouldn't be getting the same read/orange bounced color from the spacesuit so I had to compensate for it in other ways, for example, changing the white color of the wall panels to a more peach off white.
